These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, along with any enquiry, quotation, purchase, installation, or after-sales engagement for our packaging machinery and automation solutions. By browsing this site or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept them, please refrain from using our services.
By accessing the CIVET India website or entering into any commercial transaction with us, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or authorised to act on behalf of a business entity, and that you accept these Terms together with our Privacy Policy. Any purchase order you place is subject to acceptance by CIVET India in writing.

CIVET India manufactures packaging machinery for the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and agrochemical industries. While we make every effort to ensure that product images, output capacities, and specifications are accurate, minor variations may occur due to continuous product development, raw-material availability, or customisation requested by the buyer. Final specifications shall always be those confirmed in the approved drawing and the signed purchase order.
All quotations issued by CIVET India are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue, unless stated otherwise. Quotations are indicative and do not constitute an offer to sell. An order is deemed confirmed only upon receipt of the buyer's written purchase order and applicable advance payment, and our formal acknowledgement in writing.
Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) for domestic supply and in USD or EUR for export supply, unless agreed otherwise. All prices are exclusive of GST, customs duties, packing, freight, insurance, and installation charges unless specifically included. Statutory taxes and levies applicable at the time of dispatch shall be borne by the buyer.
Unless agreed otherwise, payments are structured as follows:
Delayed payments may attract interest at 1.5% per month, and CIVET India reserves the right to suspend manufacturing, dispatch, or service activities until outstanding dues are cleared.
Delivery timelines are indicative and commence from the date the order, advance payment, and approved technical drawings are received. Installation and commissioning are carried out by our engineers at the buyer's site; the buyer shall arrange suitable utilities (power, compressed air, drainage), trained operators, and unloading facilities. Risk in the goods passes to the buyer on dispatch from our factory.
CIVET India warrants its machinery against manufacturing defects for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of installation or fifteen (15) months from the date of dispatch, whichever is earlier. The warranty covers repair or replacement of defective components and does not cover:
We provide after-sales support through our service engineers and authorised partners. Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and preventive-maintenance plans are available on request. Genuine spare parts are supplied only through CIVET India or our authorised channel; use of non-genuine parts shall void the warranty and any AMC coverage.
As our machinery is built to order, cancellations after commencement of manufacturing are not ordinarily permitted. Where cancellation is accepted at CIVET India's sole discretion, cancellation charges proportionate to the stage of manufacturing shall apply. Standard catalogue items may be returned within seven (7) days of delivery, unused and in original packaging, subject to a restocking charge.
All content on this website including the CIVET India name, logo, product designs, technical drawings, photographs, videos, and documentation is the intellectual property of CIVET India and is protected by applicable trademark and copyright laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any such material without our prior written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CIVET India's total liability arising out of or in connection with any machinery or service supplied shall not exceed the invoice value of the specific machine or service giving rise to the claim. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of production, profits, goodwill, or data.
CIVET India shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, lockouts, pandemic-related restrictions, power failures, shortage of raw materials, import/export restrictions, or acts of government.
These Terms and any agreement entered into with CIVET India shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Kolkata, West Bengal.
CIVET India reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. The revised version will be posted on this page with the updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the website or services following such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
